Sonnie is a full-time solicitor working in Holley Nethercote’s financial services team. He recently completed a 10 month secondment working with a publicly listed company that acted as investment manager and Responsible Entity for a number of managed investment schemes.
Sonnie graduated in 2003 with a double degree in law and commerce (focusing on economics and finance) from the University of Otago in New Zealand. He has since completed a Masters in Entrepreneurship and worked in various commercial roles, including with several of Australia’s largest banks. He is admitted to practice law in Australia and New Zealand.
Although many refer to him as a Kiwi, he was born in Australia and has been living in Melbourne for the past five years. In his spare time Sonnie enjoys playing tennis, socialising with friends, and keeping up with his overachieving wife. He is passionate about financial services and looks forward to developing his expertise and creating significant value for the firm’s clients.
