Sam is a part time solicitor with Holley Nethercote commercial lawyers. Sam graduated from the University of Melbourne with honours in both Arts and Law in 2003. She completed the final semester of her Law degree at Universite Jean Moulin Lyon III in Lyon, France, where she completed four law subjects in French.

Sam has worked with Holley Nethercote since 2000 and has been a solicitor since 2004.

Much of her work has been in financial services law and includes advising Australian financial services licensees, chairing compliance committees, conducting licensee reviews and running training sessions. She is also experienced in other areas of commercial law and litigation.

She has had a number of articles published in a financial services industry magazine.

Sam believes in seeing things from the client's perspective. When providing legal advice, her aim is for the client to clearly understand her advice and to know exactly what they have to do next.

Sam enjoys outdoor activities such as camping, hiking, running and cycling.  There has been a little less time for these since the arrival of her son Edward in 2007 but, from time to time, Sam can still be seen running around Melbourne’s “Tan” with Edward, husband Richie and dog Bangles.  She also reads a range of books – both fiction and non-fiction.
