James recently joined Holley Nethercote as a full time commercial solicitor. James completed Bachelor Degrees in Commerce and Law at Deakin University in 2006 and a Diploma of Practical Legal Training at the College of Law in 2007.
Also during 2007 James worked full time at a boutique city law firm specialising in commercial litigation. This experience exposed James to advocacy and court processes and to the consequences of inadequate commercial structuring and contractual misunderstandings. In 2008, prior to joining Holley Nethercote, James worked for a major multinational company in a legal and commercial role. As part of this role James was involved in the drafting and negotiation of supply, distribution and repair contracts with both customers and business partners.
During his spare time James enjoys cricket, football, travelling, cooking, reading and relax with friends. James travelled extensively throughout Asia and for his next trip hopes to visit India.
